Trident Support
Corp is recognized in the 2006 Guinness Book of World Records™ as the
Prime Contractor responsible for the Tallest Unsupported Flagpole in the
World, located in Aqaba Jordan. This pole is the central feature of the
port district, and the flag and flag pole is visible from 4 countries
bordering the Gulf of Aqaba on the Red Sea. This pole is 130 meters
tall, or 426 feet. |

We have also built the 2nd
and 3rd tallest Flagpoles in the world .... a 126 meter Flagpole
located in Amman Jordan; and a 123.1 meter monumental flagpole located
in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates |

Engineering and Design:
|
Our design engineers use the unique site
characteristics such as soil, weather, and seismic conditions, along
with ANSI engineering standards in determining the basic design
parameters of the pole. |
|
This design is further refined based on the
esthetic appearance considerations of the pole, as well as the
availability of cranes and manpower which will determine the
assembly and lifting plan. |

Manufacturing and Fabrication:
|
After the Engineering and Design Phase, our
fabricators roll, form, and weld the individual steel sections and
anchoring components. |
|
Since each Monumental Pole must be custom built
depending on unique design considerations, our fabricators use a
variety of state-of-the-art computer controlled robotics and equipment as well as
custom hand-finished processes to fabricate the various components
of the pole. |
|
These completed sections are then transported to
the site where they are assembled and erected. |
|

Assembly and Erection:
|
Based on the unique conditions specific to the
site, our experts develop an assembly and erection plan. |
|
Since the availability of cranes, welders,
riggers, etc. vary considerably from one location to another, each
custom design, assembly and erection plan is based on conditions
that will be encountered at the site. |
|
If sufficient equipment and manpower is not
available in the local market, Trident Support Corp. can arrange for
full mobilization of cranes, riggers and other necessary resources
to offer a complete turn-key solution. |

Integration and Commissioning:
|
At left, our technicians are installing and
